Back to School

Since the boys have just finished their summer holidays and are starting back to the new school year, I decided that the best thing to do with the hugely generous donations I received was to buy the boys their school supplies.  But not just any school supplies….

Only the most pumping school supplies you have ever seen!  None of the normal school supply shops had any exciting pens, pencils, sharpeners etc so we had the joy of moving our searching to La Cancha, the downtown market, and the largest open air market in South America!  We knew they would be in there somewhere, and after 3 hours we were done. Phew.

We made up bags for each boy, with a pencil case full of pens and pencils, a ruler, exercise books, sharpeners, colouring pencils and of course the essential school supplies – balloons, dinosaurs and insect toys…
